Bokšto skveras Bokšto skveras

The Bokšto skveras complex had been shaped for hundreds of years in several landholdings where the masonry buildings were already mentioned in historical sources in the 15th and 16th centuries. While undergoing continuous change, the structure of the complex and its buildings with open and closed inner courtyards adjusted well to the natural terrain patterns to make a harmonious blend with both the upper and lower part of the Old Town of Vilnius, situated on the bank of the Vilnia river.

When restoring Bokšto skveras, we wanted to preserve the objects which had been shaped naturally through several ages, to return the most valuable objects to the city and to adapt the historic areas to the needs of modern people.

Preserved authenticity and adjusted innovative architectural, engineering and design solutions  allow Bokšto skveras to be called the most advanced Baroque-style complex of buildings in the Old Town of Vilnius.

Conduct of the detailed complex research

Completion of the project

Archaeological research, which took seven years, is one of the largest and most comprehensive research projects ever carried out in Vilnius Old Town: the other project which has undergone such a comprehensive research is the area of the Lower Castle of Vilnius. Scientifically priceless cultural layers, which date back to the second half of the 13th century and up to the 20th century, were discovered during the archaeological research.

All of the most valuable discovered pieces were handed over to the National Museum of Lithuania, and some of them are currently displayed at the Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall.

Place in Town and Convenience

On one side, the Bokšto skveras complex of offices is surrounded by the Vilnia river, and on the other, the most famous cultural and historical objects of Vilnius Old Town, which are only minutes away on foot. We have built a spacious 90-space underground parking lot for the convenience of office tenants and guests coming to the complex by car, therefore parking in the very Old Town will not be a problem.

Aesthetics and High-Quality Engineering Solutions

Less is more – we followed this approach while shaping the business space of Bokšto skveras. In order to create an aesthetic environment which fits with efficient work, we preserved the characteristic Baroque architecture while adjusting modern and high-quality systems for facility heating, ventilation and lighting to it.

Dignified Environment and Community

Dignified environment and community are inspiring. At the Bokšto skveras complex of offices you will be surrounded by like-minded people who wish for and seek more. It is going to be a place for the birth of future ideas and making strong business connections.

Peace and Slow Pace

Feels good: you are at the very heart of Vilnius, but you don’t feel the hustle and bustle of the tiring tempo of the city. When the working day is over you will not need to go far to find a relaxing place – a spa and a restaurant will be here, right at the Bokšto skveras complex.

Bokšto skveras will accommodate the restaurant Gastronomika, managed by Liutauras Čeprackas, famous for original cuisine ideas. Guests of the restaurant can enjoy meals from the à la carte and two-type tasting menus: seasonal and Traditions, which reflects distinct stages of Lithuanian gastronomy.

Gastronomika will be a place to organise business meetings, personal and corporate events, and during the warm season there will be a terrace with a view of the verdant square.

Bokšto SPA, which is going to be the most spacious day spa in the Old Town of Vilnius, with its 25-metre swimming pool and verdant Japanese garden, will be situated in the historic 15th-17th century cellars of the complex.

It will give you a feeling as of being in a spa far away from the city with no need to rush: all the essentials of high-quality rest will be at hand, in the centre of Vilnius.

The restoration of the long-lost chapel of St. Elizabeth will not only return the old looks of Bokšto Street, it will unveil mid-18th century elements of pictorial decoration of significant artistic value.

The restored chapel will become an exclusive multifunctional space with up to 150 seats, adjustable for conferences, concerts or personal events.

Over a long period of time, the Bokšto skveras complex buildings were shaped around the richly flowered and verdant square which already has a 250-year old linden tree growing in its centre.

Landscape architects have organised a space next to the long-growing tree, which will become a pleasant spot for socialising during events or for going for a walk while on lunch break and for getting ready for new tasks.
